Scope:
Marketing and the stimulation of consumer demand have often been
criticized as a major part of the problem of unsustainable economic
growth. However Sustainable Marketing offers a set of tools that can be
used as part of the solution to the problem of unsustainable development.
This track will seek presentations by theoreticians and practitioners
that offer leading edge systemic thinking about the application of
sustainability concepts to marketing management, and show how it can
contribute towards the improvement of the marketing strategies of the
firm for sustainable development.
