Track description The rapid proliferation of emerging technologies is reshaping multiple facets of our lives, from how we interact with information to the ways businesses engage with consumers. Within this broader context, artificial intelligence (AI) has taken center stage as a disruptive force, offering unprecedented opportunities for creativity, personalization, and efficiency. Generative AI—the ability of machines to produce content, ideas, and patterns—holds the power to redefine consumer behavior by influencing engagement, decision-making processes, and the overall dynamics of global markets. This track seeks to delve into the complexities arising at the intersection of advanced AI and consumer behavior in a tech-driven world. We welcome research from diverse fields, including behavioral sciences, marketing, psychology, sociology, systems thinking, and technology studies. By bringing together scholars, practitioners, and industry experts, we aim to foster a holistic understanding of how AI innovations are reshaping the relationship between businesses and their audiences. Contributions that address the impact of AI on decision-making processes, consumer trust, and ethical considerations are particularly encouraged, as these insights can guide both theoretical advancements and real-world strategies. We are particularly interested in studies that employ a wide range of methodological perspectives - qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, systems thinking, and computational approaches - to investigate the strategic and governance challenges posed by AI. Our goal is to shed light on how AI-powered tools, from recommendation engines to virtual assistants, transform consumer expectations and reconfigure brand loyalty in an increasingly interconnected marketplace. These transformations extend to emerging market trends, where continuous technological evolution demands that organizations adapt swiftly to remain competitive. This track aims to spark meaningful dialogue on responsible innovation, policy frameworks, and ethical considerations. In doing so, it will not only highlight the significance of AI’s influence on consumer behavior but also invite reflections on how organizations and societies can harness these advancements for sustainable growth. We look forward to receiving submissions that illuminate the nuanced ways AI and other technological breakthroughs are revolutionizing consumer interactions, offering pathways to a future shaped by both innovation and responsible stewardship.
