SYMPOSIUM SCOPE

The symposium aims to address the global sustainability challenges by a systemic perspective.

Systems Thinking sheds the light to the several interactions between natural and social systems. Knowing these interactions gives a better understanding of the principles that can help solve some of today's most pressing environmental, social and economic issues.

The criticalities and the opportunities of sustainability will be faced according to the cutting edge research and practice in the various fields of social science.

This multidisciplinary perspective  includes: economics, management, engineering and sociology.

In particular the symposium will focus on the epistemological, theoretical, methodological, technical and practical contributions of the systemic approach to sustainable development to shape an agenda to address the present global economic and social challenges.

The language of the symposium is English.

The symposium will be structured in  panels, workshops and poster sessions.

The overall maximum number of speakers will be limited through rigorous selection to 120 (including posters).

The Symposium will start on January 23 at 13,15 pm and end on January 24 at 19;30 pm.
