SOCIO-ECONOMIC ECOSYSTEMS:

CHALLENGES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN THE DIGITAL ERA

TRACK TOPIC:

Intellectual Capital and

Organizational Systems

CHAIR:

This track aims to foster the sharing of leading-edge knowledge on the role of intangible resources, such as the intellectual capital, within the realms of open organizational systems.

In its capacity as a driving force for systemic development and growth, the intellectual capital emerges as the combination of knowledge-bearing intangible resources with a great potential to harness valuable, rare and irreplaceable organizational capabilities.

Through the lens of multifold dimensions i.e., human, structural, relational capital -, the organizational systems evolve and thrive, succeeding in the harmonization process of the internal and environmental dynamics and, thus, ensuring long-term thriveability.

Building on this logic, the track invites contributions addressing, among others, topics such as:

-        Intellectual capital in dynamic organizational systems

-        Intellectual capital in borders without borders

-        Intangible resources and open organizational systems

-        Capabilities of organizational systems

-        Incentives of thriveability in organizational systems

-        Intangible assets / skills and systemic development
